When I was a small boy, there used to be a tram that ran from Elsternwick Station and Port Ormond right past our house.

The drivers would let me take charge of the tram for last 400 yards.

I used to plead with each driver to let me change the pole of one driver.

A bit of joker, eventually relented.

I was a skinny little fellow, so I got swept into the air, swinging back and forth.

I begged the driver to let me down but he just sat there roaring with laughter.

天气渐渐暖了。

衣服也越穿越单薄。

风，依然那么冷。

雨，还是在不停的下。

图书馆前的树，

却已经开花了。

你说，

春天是不是

要到了呢？

I will wake up 

and remember

to breathe in 

fresh air that is 

nature's gift to us.

I will walk the 

earth and remember 

the flora and 

fauna and people 

are all part of 

the living community.

I will acknowledge 

and follow the first 

protectors of this land

That the land I walk 

upon should be treated 

with care and respect

I will recycle and 

reduce my waste 

and consumption

And remember 

that we all live 

on one planet

I will quench my 

thirst with water

and remember

That water is life

I will protect the 

precious resources 

our environment 

provide to us

Fuifill my commitment 

to to ensure its safety

and remember that change

starts with me.
